Two Indianola and one Norwalk athletes were awarded All-State Honors for football for the 2020 season by the Iowa Print Sports Writers Association, Indians senior quarterback/cornerback CJ Kuehl and junior running back Kael Kolarik were chosen for class 4A, while senior wide receiver/tight end Ethan Carlson was selected for the Warriors in class 3A.

Kuehl was selected as a utility player on the class 4A 3rd team for his work on the defensive side of the ball, getting three interceptions and making 22 tackles while splitting time as the starting quarterback, while Kolarik amassed 813 rushing yards and led class 4A in rushing touchdowns with 18 to earn a spot on the 2nd team.

Carlson had over 1000 yards receiving on the season to lead class 3A with 1027, and was tied for third in the class with 10 receiving touchdowns, and was selected to the class 3A 1st team.
