With record home building set to take place in Indianola in 2021 with 122 lots being developed, the city may see even more if home building can see a growth in spring. Community and Economic Development Director Charlie Dissell tells KNIA News the city has planned ahead with places they have designated for growth, and it just requires private entities to take advantage of those areas.
“I estimate somewhere around another 100 or so lots with the subdivisions we have planned, and that really just depends on development and those developers and when they want to start phasing those projects in. We do have an inventory of 143 lots that have not been made final yet, and that really depends on phasing and how the other subdivisions play out in the next year.”
