According to a statement released Tuesday, Pella Regional Health Center is working to maintain capacity to treat patients. They are experiencing a higher volume of patients in the hospital, as well as at the medical clinics, and representatives ask for patience as they work to provide everyone the care they need. Patients may experience extended wait times due to current volumes. Hospital staff say they are working to serve everyone as efficiently as they can at this time. CEO Bob Kroese says the hospital remains committed to providing quality care and they are able to do so, despite the recent surge in COVID-19 patients.

Patients are asked to do the following (from Pella Regional)
• If you have an emergency, call 911 or go to the emergency department.
• If you need care today, but it’s not an emergency, you may be able to be seen at one of our Walk-In Clinic locations. You can check-in online using the links below:

• All COVID-19 tests must be scheduled. Call 641.621.2200 Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm to talk with our staff about testing.
