The Indianola City Council meets in regular session this evening. The council will hear reports from Catch Des Moines and Bravo, consider a resolution supporting the George Washington Carver Statue Project, and consider nominations to the Fine Art and Beautification Commission.
The council will hold a public hearing on the Indianola Eats Program block grant, consider the vacation of a street on the Simpson College Campus, bond authorization, an agreement with the Iowa DOT for tree funding, lift station upgrades, and discuss storm sewer repair on the downtown square before going into closed session to discuss litigation. The meeting begins at 6pm, and will be streamed live over YouTube and Zoom Meeting.
