The Pleasantville wrestling team is getting ready for their first weekend wrestling tournament of the season when they travel to Nodaway Valley for the Coach Riley Invitational. Pleasantville will be one of 12 teams participating in the tournament.

 

The Trojans are coming off a split at their first triangular in Southeast Warren, winning a dual against Martensdale-St. Mary’s and losing a dual to Southeast Warren/Melcher-Dallas Thursday. Pleasantville had eight individual victories between the two duals Thursday, including two from Caleb Cook, Kitt Lundy, and Trevor Nickel. Dillen Ammons and Devon Luing also came away with victories by fall.

 

Other participants in the tournament include the Trojans’ conference rival AC/GC as well as fellow Marion County foe Knoxville. The tournament is scheduled to begin at 10:00 A.M.
