The Indianola City Council met in regular session Monday. The council heard reports from Catch Des Moines and Bravo, and approved a resolution supporting the George Washington Carver Statue Project, and nominations to the Fine Art and Beautification Commission.
The council approved the Indianola Eats Program block grant, the vacation of a street on the Simpson College Campus, bond authorizations, an agreement with the Iowa DOT for tree funding, lift station upgrades, and discussed storm sewer repair on the downtown square before going into closed session to discuss litigation.
