pleasantville-3

The Pleasantville Trojans suffered their first loss of the season Monday and they hope to bounce back against conference foe Woodward-Granger Thursday night.

The boys’ game at Earlham was postponed due to a COVID-19 outbreak within the Earlham team. The game against Woodward-Granger is added to have an additional conference game due to the uncertainty of rescheduling the game at Earlham. Coach Tom Wilkins tells KNIA Sports that his team needs to run their offense better in order to be successful this season.

Coach Wilkins also states that the team needs to shoot better since they shot just 27% from the field in their 58-30 loss to Panorama. The Trojans scored just six points in each of the first two quarters of the game, combining for just 12 points in the half.

The boys begin their game at Woodward-Granger Thursday at 7:30 P.M.
