The Pella City Council approved a resolution moving the start time of regular meetings going forward Tuesday evening. Business continues on the first and third Tuesday of each month, however, sessions will now instead start at 6 p.m. starting January 19th.
Council also approved resolutions for a change order with Synergy Contracting for the Clark Street Water Main project, set a public hearing for East Interchange Infrastructure Improvements, submitted a five year capital improvement program for the Pella Municipal Airport, and accepted improvements for the Tuttle Cabin Learning Walkway. The council also conditionally approved resolutions accepting public projects and a final plat associated with the Prairie Ridge Development.
After the exempt session, Council adopted a resolution amending the City’s Infectious Disease Action Plan/Policy as it applies to City employees. This amendment extends the expiration date of the policy to February 28, 2021.
Following regular business, council received the first overview of the upcoming Fiscal Year 2021-22 budget ahead of work sessions in February.
