Warren County will begin to receive the Moderna vaccine next week if it is approved by the FDA, providing the vaccine to healthcare providers and emergency personnel, followed by residents who are high-risk. Warren County Health Services Director Jodene DeVault tells KNIA News once those workers have received the vaccine, they will move on to members of the general public.

“As the 1A phase, what we are in now, is complete, we will move on the 1B phase sometime probably late in January or early February, it will open up to some essential service workers. And from there if everything goes well, we are hoping to start getting a lot of people vaccinated.”
