The Indianola City Council met in regular session Monday, the last regularly scheduled meeting of 2020. The council elected to not back charge residents for a sewer billing rate by IMU, approved appointments to the Des Moines Metropolitan Planning Organization, Central Iowa Regional Transportation Planning Alliance, Indianola Fine Arts Commission, and Indianola Parks and Rec Commission, the adoption of the Master Trail Plan, and a petition for the title of 1009 E Salem Ave, before entering closed session to discuss litigation.
The board also held a study session regarding Statewide Urban Design and Specifications, an update on the Pavement Indexing Project, and budget processes for FY2022.
