Heading into Christmas break, the Norwalk boys basketball team is right where they were this time last season with a 4-2 record. The Warriors sit in a third place tie with Newton at 2-1 in Little Hawkeye Conference games, behind undefeated teams Dallas Center-Grimes and Pella. Head Coach Chris Larson says that the break is a critical time for every program, and his team will watch a lot of film and focus on the mental aspect of the game during the holiday break.

Unlike many schools in the area, Norwalk has no games this week. The Warriors will return to action on Monday, January 4th with a home non-conference tilt against Van Meter. Hear that game live on 94.3 KNIA. The tie with Newton will be broken the following night when Norwalk travels to take on the Cardinals, with the live broadcast airing on the KNIA3 stream.
