The Pleasantville Basketball teams are off for Holiday Break after dropping their doubleheader at Des Moines Christian on the 18th. They will return to action for another conference doubleheader at Woodward-Granger on January 5th.

 

The girls are currently 3-5 on the season, including losing three of their last four. Their only win came against West Central Valley on the 15th. That win is also their only conference win so far this winter, as they are 1-3 in West Central Conference play. Coach Jeff Cook tells KNIA Sports that his team needs to improve their shooting immensely if they are going to be successful in 2021.

 

The boys are currently 3-2 on the season, including winning two of their last three, with their only loss coming against Des Moines Christian. Pleasantville is only 1-2 in conference play, with their only win coming against Woodward-Granger on the 10th.

 

The doubleheader is scheduled to tip off at 6:00 P.M. on the 5th at Woodward-Granger High School. The game will be broadcast on kniakrls.com on the KRLS3 stream.
