Since the beginning of the outbreak, 2,656 COVID-19 cases have been reported in Marion County. In their most recent weekly report, Marion County Public Health considered 2,546 individuals to have recovered from the virus, so 110 are considered active.

There have been 46 fatalities locally, 40 of which were directly attributed to COVID-19, and all of which have come since the beginning of September. There are six Marion County residents hospitalized with the virus.
