The Marion County Conservation Department is offering a Christmas tree disposal service. The department will drive around Knoxville to pick up trees on Monday, January 4th. Trees should be placed next to the curb and free of all decorations, and should not be bagged. The route will be driven once, and the department requests that trees be put outside before 8:00 a.m. that day.

A tree drop off site will be open at the entrance of Marion County Park through January 15th for those unable to participate on Monday or those outside Knoxville. The disposed trees will be used for wildlife cover and fish habitat in county conservation areas.
