Two new fatalities related to COVID-19 were reported in Marion County Saturday to the State of Iowa Coronavirus database. In total, 49 residents have died due to the virus since the beginning of the outbreak.

In total, 2,736 positive cases have been confirmed in the county, and 2,546 were considered recovered by Marion County Public Health.
