As Pella Christian High School students return for class this week, they do so with a unique program aiming to give them experience beyond a traditional classroom. Councilor Brad Engbers says the 9th annual Winterim will look different due to COVID-19, but will feature a slate of unique classes and internships through Friday. Engbers says there will be no trips out of state or the country because of the pandemic, but there will be more offerings in building and new business partners stepping up to provide job shadow experience. Engbers says Pella Christian High School’s spring semester classes will begin next week.
