Staff at the Pella Community Food Shelf are looking back at the impact of their services in 2020. In total, they averaged over 100 volunteers who served monthly, with over 400 households receiving support. Director Melissa Zula is thankful for how volunteers responded, especially with the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, and for the support they received during the holidays. The Pella Community Food Shelf is open from 8 to 9 a.m. and 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. every Tuesday at The Well in Pella. Due to COVID-19, masks are required and there is a limit of one person picking up per household.
