The Melcher-Dallas Saints will be back in action Monday for a home Bluegrass Conference doubleheader against conference powerhouse Lamoni.
The Saints girls are currently in the midst of a four-game winning streak including wins over Ankeny Christian, Seymour, and Murray twice. Melcher-Dallas’ last game was Tuesday, which was a 44-34 overtime victory over Murray. The Saints have given up 35 points or less in their last four games and look to continue their stellar defensive play.
Melcher-Dallas’ boys have lost four of their first five games to start the season, with their only win coming against Seymour. The Saints have struggled to score so far this season, with only one game in which they put up more than 60 points. Melcher-Dallas will look to improve their scoring against one of the best teams in the Bluegrass Conference.
The doubleheader will take place at Melcher-Dallas High School, with the girls’ game tipping off at 6:00 PM.
