Knoxville Panthers Coaches vs. Cancer is this Saturday, and the district has announced that they will restrict spectator attendance. Student-athletes will still be allowed to have guests in attendance, but Jim Uitermarkt says that it’s not in anyone’s best interest to allow the gym to be packed.
“While our school has opened up the gym for games and we don’t have restrictions for other games right now, the school will have restrictions for this event. It’s not going to be anything like two per player like we were doing before, but we also understand that it’s not smart for us to pack the gym like we normally do on a Coaches vs. Cancer night.”
No tickets are available for the general public at this time. Hear a preview of this weekend’s Knoxville Coaches vs. Cancer on today’s Let’s Talk Knoxville.
