A Knoxville man was taken into custody after the report of a domestic disturbance Friday. At 1:06 p.m., officers were dispatched to 702 S Roche Street, the residence of 44-year-old Gregory Latas, for a domestic disturbance in progress. Upon investigation, officers discovered lacerations on the victim’s head and left forearm. Latas allegedly hit the victim in the head with his cane and threw a tray at the victim.
