
The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday. They received a presentation from Brian McMillan of Neapolitan Labs on the potential creation of a new county website, and a presentation from Ashley Scray of Ady Advantage on a targeted industry attraction strategy plan proposal to bolster the economy in the county. They allocated $5,000 to Impact Community Action Partnership for fiscal year 2021-2022.
They discussed the VA Campus Demolition Project, with this spring as a targeted time frame for demolition. They authorized the county engineer to sign a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers real estate application.
They made appointments to county boards, including Robin Pfalzgraf to the board of health, and Brian Bigaouette to the county attorney civil service commission. They also held a discussion and took no action on the county employee leave donation policy.
The next Marion County Board of Supervisors meeting will be Tuesday, February 9th at 9:00 a.m.
