The Pella School board finished the annual evaluation of Superintendent Greg Ebeling at their meeting Wednesday, which was postponed from Monday due to the winter storm. A written section of the evaluation was completed during a closed session, followed by a meeting with Ebeling that is part of a regular process each winter.
The Pella School Board approved a resolution to set a public hearing on issuing $8.2 million in school infrastructure sales, services, and use tax revenue refunding bonds.
A COVID-19 update will also be given, which includes initial details about new funding approved by Congress in December and the current plans for vaccine rollout in the district. Marion County Public Health will help facilitate the rollout of vaccines to staff, and those will be prioritized for the nearly 300 employees the district currently has on staff.
