A strong cold front passing through the state will cause travel issues statewide. A winter weather advisory is in effect through Friday morning. According to the National Weather Service, gusty winds up to 45 MPH will bring much colder air, which could cause roads to “flash freeze,” and light-to-moderate snowfall possible over the course of the day could cause blizzard-like conditions. Travel is not advised throughout most of the state, and poor road conditions are expected to continue into Friday morning.
