The latest data released by the Pella Community School District shows the number of students in quarantine due to COVID-19 is trending downward. For the first time since the metric was posted on the school’s Coronavirus website, less than one percent of kids were out of class but participating in online learning due to a close contact for the virus or for a positive test. This week, two students missed class due to a positive test. Staff absences remain below one percent as well, with the overall number of students missing class this week hovering between 1.3 and 2.2 percent.
