After their best season in nearly a decade, the Twin Cedars girls basketball team had to settle for just a single postseason contest as the Sabers fell to Wayne 50-26 on Thursday night.

Brooke Roby and Cheyanne Bruns tied for the team lead in points with 8 apiece.

Twin Cedars finished with an overall record of 11-11, including 7-3 in Bluegrass Conference play. That was good enough for a share of third place in the league standings. All of those are the best for the Sabers girls since 2012.
