Pleasantville’s boys basketball team gets back in the win column with an important 58-44 victory over non-conference opponent Saydel Thursday night.
The Trojans got back into the win column, raising their record to 6-14 on the season, and their first win in the month of February. Mason Scheve had another fantastic scoring night as he led the way with 27 points for Pleasantville. The win by the Trojans is also the first win for the team since January 30 when they knocked off Clarke.
Pleasantville will have one more game before they begin their playoff run, which is their season finale at home against non-conference opponent Chariton tonight. The game will tip off at 6:30 PM. After the game, Pleasantville will square off with Colfax-Mingo in their first-round playoff game Monday night.
