For the second straight season, Carson Breon of Pella Christian competed at the state swimming meet. Breon placed 30th in the 100 meter butterfly to close his career in the pool as a member of the Oskaloosa Swim Team in his race at Linn-Mar High School Saturday. Carson was a 2020 state qualifier as well, placing 22nd overall in the 100 yard backstroke race last year. Carson intends to join the returning Pella Christian Track and Field team this spring, where he was the team’s primary hurdler in 2019.
