indianola-3

The Indianola boys basketball team travels to Urbandale tonight for a boys only contest against the J-Hawks, wrapping up their regular season. The Indians boys are currently on a six-game winning streak after dropping three in a row in late January, scoring below 70 only once in the streak. Indians head coach Brett Watson tells KNIA Sports in their last game against Norwalk, the offensive output from CJ Kuehl and Cooper Nailor where they put up a combined 43 points gives another dimension to his squad.

“If our top two guys don’t have games like they normally do, we need other guys to step up. So now hopefully they have some confidence that they’ve done it in a game in an unbelievable atmosphere on the road against our rivals. So I think that’s huge for us to have some third, fourth, and hopefully some fifth options step up for us.”

Action starts at 7:45pm.
