Work continues among educators from area high schools to expand work-based learning opportunities. A summit was held at Central College Thursday that brought leaders from Pella, Pella Christian, Twin Cedars, and Central College together to continue building programming and opportunities for schools, students and employers. Director of Work Based Learning with Future Ready Iowa Teri Vos says the intent was to share the scope, strategy and how work-based learning enhances curriculum and student engagement with local employers.
