PCM’s boys’ basketball team will be returning just two of their five starters in 2021-22, but both of them were top three in scoring.
The Mustangs’ leading scorer, Andrew Mitchell will be graduating, but Juniors Carson Vandelune and Durant Van Dyke will return to the starting lineup looking to take a huge step forward. Vandelune was PCM’s second-leading scorer and three-point shooter in 2020-21, averaging 13 points per game and connecting on 31% of his threes. Van Dyke led the team in rebounding, averaging nine boards a game.
PCM finished 11-11 on the season with a substate semifinal loss to Des Moines Christian Tuesday night.
