PCM’s boys’ basketball team will try to reload and rise to the competition in the Heart of Iowa Conference next season.

The Mustangs finished with an 11-11 overall record and a 5-6 conference record but rebounded after an 0-4 start to win 11 of their final 18 games. Perhaps the most noteworthy victory of the season for PCM was a comeback win over Class 1A Powerhouse North Mahaska on December 14th. The Mustangs won 54-50 behind a ten-point, 11-rebound double-double from Senior Gatlin Boell.

The Mustangs’ season ended with a substate semifinal loss to Des Moines Christian.
