While the Twin Cedars Boys Basketball Squad did not have the tallest team around, the Sabers still held their own in rebounding. Twin Cedars finished 7th in the Bluegrass Conference in rounding averaging 28.5 per game. Coach Blake McWilliams tells KNIA/KRLS Sports rebounding was one of the most improved areas of the team this season.
McWilliams:
“Not getting out rebounded was something that a lot of people might not notice, we were better at this season. you notice as a coach when you have four kids that are shorter than the other team, that was a good thing to see this season.”
Two Sabers got to the 100 rebound barrier this season with Dallas Clarke leading at 124, he finished 8th in the conference while Brett Sedlock pulled down 100 boards for the 7-10 Sabers. Clarke will return as the leading rebounder for Twin Cedars, while Sedlock will graduate this May.
