Applications are open for the 2021 Marion County Fair Queen competition. Coordinator Deanna Wahlert tells KNIA/KRLS News that all applications will be online this year. Those interested in competing must be between 16 and 21 years old on August 1st, 2021. The 2021 Fair Queen will receive a $500 scholarship from the Marion County Fair to assist with their education after high school.

This year’s competition will be held Saturday, June 26th, with KNIA/KRLS Program Director Spencer Dirks serving as emcee.
