The Iowa Basketball Coaches Association is hosting the 2021 Pizza Ranch All-Star Game this weekend at Dallas Center-Grimes, and several area athletes have made the lineups.

From Pella High School, Madison Naig and Grant Nelson were named on the SE Iowa Girls and Boys teams respectively. Naig was a unanimous All-Little Hawkeye Conference selection this winter, while Nelson was named All-Tournament team captain for the 3A champions.

Both Dutch players will be joined by Knoxville’s Maggie Wilkins and Kieren Nichols as teammates in the elite exhibition games. Wilkins scored 23.8 points per contest, which ranked 5th best among all girls basketball players this winter, while Nichols averaged 19.8 points per contest for the Panthers, 5th best in Class 3A.

Kendall Clatt of Indianola is on the SW Iowa Girls team. Clatt was one of the top three-point shooters in Class 5A, as her 66 makes was tied for the most in the class, and she was a first-team All-Little Hawkeye Conference selection and 5A 3rd Team All-State honoree.

The Iowa Basketball Coaches Association Pizza Ranch All-Star Game will be played at Dallas Center-Grimes High School on Saturday, March 27th.
