The City of Indianola and IMU held a joint informational meeting Wednesday evening, “Understanding Your Utility Bill”, which reviewed the items on the monthly utility bills and why they may have changed over the past year. IMU General Manager Chris Desplanque said a cold winter and the effects of the pandemic have had an impact on utility bills, and IMU has fixed any errant billing that may have occurred in the past several months since they went through a billing service change.

Desplanque also urged to the public that if they have any questions about their bill, to call IMU and they will be happy to help. The full presentation can be found on the city website and YouTube channel.
