The Central softball team makes its return today after over a month off due to health and safety concerns. The Dutch will play their first home games since 2019, hosting Greenville in non-conference action. Central is still in search of their first wins of the season after dropping a pair in Jacksonville, IL in February. Greenville enters 4-9 overall, and Central holds a 1-0 all-time series lead, with the lone game taking place in Tucson, AZ in March 2017. First pitch from the Central Softball Field is scheduled for 2:00, with the second game to follow at approximately 4:00.

Meanwhile, the Central track & field teams begin the outdoor season today, hosting the Central Invitational at Ron and Joyce Schipper Stadium. Action begins at 2:00 p.m.
