The Indianola City Council meets in regular session Monday, where Mayor Pam Pepper will read a proclamation declaring April 18-24th as Volunteer Week in the city. The council will consider the first reading of an amendment to the city code to change the traffic on the square from one-way to two-way. The council will also receive an update on the Downtown Streetscape Project, consider approval of the study regarding traffic on the intersection of Buxton and W 2nd Ave, and award a contract for sewer repair.

The council will also consider sponsorship of certain grant opportunities, a contract for the mowing of city properties, and the final phase of work on the Jerry Kelley Trail before going into closed session to discuss litigation. The meeting begins at 6pm in the city council chambers at Indianola City Hall.
