The City of Indianola continues work on repairing the streets after the cold winter temperatures caused damage, with pothole repair being the main focus before moving on to the larger projects later in spring and summer. Public Works Director Akhilesh “AP” Pal tells KNIA News the winter was harsh, but the public works team is hard at work.
“Due to the weather fluctuations we are seeing a lot more potholes in the roads, which is not a surprise to us. It’s expected so basically at this time we are doing a lot of patching and street repairs as we get ready for this year’s larger maintenance activities which include full pavement and fault repairs.”
