Some Tulip City baseball alumni have been back in action this spring.

Jaden Rolffs transferred from Iowa Western Community College after two seasons to Missouri State. The former two-time All-State player for Pella and All-American with the Reivers is now playing for the NCAA Division I Bears, and the junior has hit 8 home runs in 68 at bats, starting 17 games.

Former Pella Christian Eagle Kade Vander Molen is in his second season with Taylor University out of the NAIA, and has 33 runs scored and an on-base percentage of .406 in 37 games started, with two home runs and seven doubles.

Isaac Vander Hart is a former Eagle and a senior for Dordt and has started six games as a pitcher, with 14 strikeouts in 20 ⅔ innings.

Two-time All-State Pella Christian alumnus Will Dembski is a sophomore member of the Caltech Baseball team at the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, but the 2021 season has been on hold due to health protocols.

Former Pella players Drew Hillman at Bethel and Ben Akers at Northwestern College have not played any varsity college baseball yet this season, and the same goes for former Eagle Matthew Bokhoven at Dordt, although all are listed on this spring’s rosters.
