A frost advisory has been issued for Marion and Warren Counties from 1 to 8 a.m. Wednesday (4/14). Near freezing temperatures overnight into the early morning means frost could form, killing sensitive outdoor vegetation if left uncovered.
Frost and freeze events are not uncommon in April — typically on average, the final hard freeze of the season takes place in mid-April, and the final frost by the first week of May.
