Melcher-Dallas Girls Golf Travels to Pleasantville

Melcher-Dallas’ girls’ golf team will get back on the course as they compete with fellow Marion County foe in their second meet of the season.

The Saints’ only meet of the season thus far took place in Moravia, where they finished third in a triangular with the host and Wayne. Kynser Reed was the high golfer in their first meet with a score of 53. Melcher-Dallas will compete with the host and Carlisle.

The meet will begin at the Pleasantville Golf and Country Club at 4:00 PM.

Melcher-Dallas Girls Track Back On the Road, Go To Central Decatur

Melcher-Dallas’ girls’ track team will hope to finish in a higher place in their next meet as they travel to Central Decatur.

The Saints’ girls finished with 33 points in their last meet at East Union, which was good for seventh place. Melcher-Dallas had two first-place finishes, which were J’Lyn Knutson in the 3000 meter run and Grace Overgaard in discus. The Saints will look to finish with a higher score and have more top finishers in their next meet.

The Guy Clark Relays at Central Decatur will begin at 4:30 PM.
