Pella Boys Golf 5th at Home Tournament
The Pella boys golf team hosted the annual Dutch Masters golf tournament, placing 5th at the Pella Golf and Country Club on Friday. Will Simpson led Pella with a 79, which was good for 4th overall among individuals, followed by Thomas Tangen’s 84 and Ayden Gordon’s 89. The duo will be featured on next week’s KNIA/KRLS Radio Sports Page, airing every Wednesday at 6 p.m. and Thursday at 10 a.m. on 92.1 KRLS. Click here for full results.

Pella Boys Tennis Win Johnston Invitational

In the team’s first invitational of the season, the No. 3 ranked Pella boys tennis team won the Johnston tournament Friday. The Dutch earned wins over No. 5 in 1A Boone, No. 9 in 2A Marshalltown, Johnston, and Norwalk.

Dutch Boys Soccer Edges Carlisle on Road
Pella earned its second win over a Warren County boys soccer team this week, as the No. 10 in 2A Dutch defeated Carlisle on the road 2-1. Isaac Semini scored his 8th and 9th goals of the young season. Pella improves to 5-2 and hosts No. 5 in Class 1A Waterloo Columbus today, with varsity competition starting at 12:45 p.m. at Pella High School.
