Pleasantville’s boys’ golf team is focusing on gaining experience throughout the year as youth is the theme of this season.
The Trojans are operating with three athletes that had never competed in a high school golf meet before, and their other three starters only have a year of experience underneath their belt. Coach Chuck Sinclair tells KNIA Sports that he is looking forward to his team gaining experience throughout the rest of the season.
“We will have the rest of the week to prepare, and then our next home meet is next Thursday with Van Meter and Des Moines Christian.”
Pleasantville’s next meet is Monday when they travel for a triangular with Centerville and Chariton. The meet will begin at 4:15 PM.
