The Indianola Girls Soccer team braved the cold Monday evening, but would fall to the Mustangs of Dallas Center-Grimes 10-0 in Little Hawkeye Conference play. Indians head coach Mackenzie Stump tells KNIA Sports her team is beginning to communicate more and more as the season goes on, which is a big part of her plan for success.

“Chemistry for us, we are slowly starting to figure it out way faster than what we did two years ago. That’s just due to great leadership from our seniors. I told them the first day of the season, communication is a non-negotiable in this program. That’s something you always have to do to be successful as a team, and chemistry comes along the way with that.”

The Indians fall to 2-3 on the season, and will play Knoxville on the road on Thursday.
