With the Warren County Courthouse construction well underway, the funding for the upcoming court system that will use the new facility is currently being worked on in the Iowa Legislature. State Representative Brooke Boden tells KNIA News as part of her work on the RIFF (Rebuild Iowa Infrastructure Fund) Committee, the committee has sent an appropriation to the full House.

“I’m proud to say that for me we passed out of that committee a full appropriation on the Warren County Judicial System for the new courthouse. There is some question on how much of that the Senate will pick up and I am working with Senator Garrett to get the right appropriation for that.”
