Peak viewing season for Pella’s tulips will continue through early May. Pella Historical Society and Museums Assistant Director Jessi Vos says the recent burst of cooler air will help keep blooms intact and delay other flowers enough to ensure thousands of flowers will be at their best in the coming weeks. Pella Historical Society and the City of Pella Community Services Department have been posting regular updates about the status of flowers. This week, Parks Director Chandler Nunnikhoven was joined by the Tulip Queen Alyssa Geetings and the royal court including Tessa Brouwer, Olivia DeHaan Burch, Ashley Hardman, and Hannah Tschetter.
