The Pleasantville City Council met in regular session Tuesday. They approved a proposal for a water main improvement project on State Street near the school construction site. They awarded a contract for the city’s wastewater treatment plant digester project, and through the restructuring of the state revolving fund loan, residents’ rates will not change.

They approved the demolition of a house at 307 E Monroe, and approved the funding for 4th of July fireworks. They also set May 18th as a public hearing date for a proposal to enter into a sewer revenue loan and disbursement agreement.

The next Pleasantville City Council meeting will be Tuesday, May 18th at 5:30 p.m. at Pleasantville City Hall.
