The Indianola boys tennis team continued their hot start to the season, taking down SE Polk on the road Friday afternoon 6-5. The Indians got two-set wins in singles from Logan Hageman, Drake Downard, and Casey Daughenbaugh, with the pairings of Hageman/Downard, Nick Jensen/Sam Thessen, and Nathan Barth/Evan Baker winning in doubles play to secure the win. Head coach Jamie Busby tells KNIA Sports after a year off, the leaps and bounds her squad has taken this spring has been amazing to watch. The Indians will next take on rival Pella on Thursday.

The Indianola girls golf team battled in the Lamson Invitational Friday morning, finishing 12th with a team score of 490. The Indians will next golf Monday in the Turk Bowman Invitational in Ames.
