In a last-minute addition to the schedule, Pleasantville’s girls golf team finished second in a five-team meet at Colfax-Mingo with the host, Bondurant-Farrar, Panorama, and #3 in Class 2A Roland-Story.
The Trojans finished with a score of 235, 27 strokes behind first-place Roland-Story and eight strokes ahead of Panorama. The lead golfer for Pleasantville in the meet was Brianna Benge, with a score of 57. One golfer that has stepped up as the season has gone on is freshman Leah Adreon, who scored a 59, good enough for third on the team.
Pleasantville will be back in action for a home coed golf triangular Monday with West Central Conference opponents Panorama and Ogden. The meet will begin at the Pleasantville Golf and Country Club at 4:00 PM.
