Melcher-Dallas Coed Golf Finish Second at Lamoni, Girls Golf Competes With Pleasantville

Melcher-Dallas’ golf teams came up on the wrong end of a dual meet at Lamoni Wednesday night.

The Saints’ boys finished on the wrong end against the Devils. For the girls, Kynser Reed finished as the high golfer in the whole meet with a score of 53. Team scores are unavailable at this time.

Melcher-Dallas’ girls will be back in action for a meet at Pleasantville today, which is an 18-hole meet at 2:00 PM. The Saints’ boys will be back in action Monday, when they travel to Mormon Trail.

Melcher-Dallas Girls Track Goes Back on the Road, Competes at Clarke

Melcher-Dallas’ girls track team will go back on the road for their next meet as they travel to Clarke.

The Saints are coming off finishing third in their last meet at Moravia. The Saints had two first-place finishes in the meet. J’Lyn Knutson finished first in the 3000 meter run and Grace Overgaard topped the shot put. The Saints finished with 76 points, behind just Murray and Seymour.

The meet will begin at Clarke at 4:30 PM.

Melcher-Dallas Boys Track Travels to PCM For Next Meet

Melcher-Dallas’ boys track team will compete with fellow Marion County foes Pleasantville and Knoxville as they go to PCM for their next meet.

The Saints are coming off finishing fourth in their last meet at Moravia with a total of 77 points. Melcher-Dallas had four second-place finishes and one first-place finish in the meet. Ryan Krpan topped the 800 meter run, while the Saints as a team finished first in the 4×400 meter, shuttle hurdle, sprint medley, and distance medley relays.

The meet at PCM will begin at 4:30 PM.
